Greta Middlebrooks
2018/19 St. Petersburg
College Scholarship
Hello. My name is Greta. I am a dental hygiene student at St. Petersburg College. I am in my second and final year of the program. I chose Dental Hygiene, because I love giving back to the community, and I have been in the dental field 7 years now. During my years in dentistry, I have had many opportunities to work with different groups including the Public Health Department and the St. Pete Free Clinic. Soon, I will be going to Jamaica with a group of classmates to volunteer our services. What this scholarship means to me, is it helps me focus a little less on the cost of education, and a little more on the things that motivated me to pursue this field. Thank you.
