To receive a health care grant from the Sonia Plotnick Health Fund (SPHF), a woman must be permanent resident of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, or Sarasota Counties, and not have the financial resources to meet her healthcare needs.
Please note: all grants are dependent on the availability of funds.
The SHPF covers 100% of preventative care such as: well woman exams, pap smears, mammograms and other preventative screenings as funds are available. Preventative dental care (yearly checkups, cleanings and x-rays) is funded at 100% as funds are available. Other dental work is not covered by the Fund at this time.
