It was great meeting so many women at the Sarasota Pride Festival. We were able to spread the word about SPHF and hope to help more women from Sarasota County manage their healthcare costs. A big thanks to our volunteers, Nancy, Jen & Maggie. Thanks, Sarasota!!
THANK YOU to the 20 women who volunteered on behalf of SPHF at the annual Geckoball & Geckofest in Gulfport. Volunteers did everything including decorating, Silent Auction monitoring and serving food. You all were integral to the success of these events and you made SPHF proud!
The Board of Directors met on August 10th in Tampa for a very productive annual meeting. Policies and procedures were discussed and revised, and the Board left with renewed energy to move the Fund forward to serve more women. Nearly 1,000 women have been served by the fund, with over $220,000 distributed in healthcare grants
Congratulations to Ann Jochems who guessed the correct amount of "eggs in the ovary" at our SPHF table at the St. Pete Pride Festival. It was a great event and we were able to let a lot of women know about the Fund. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello.
